We are delighted to announce that contemporary painters Tina Atchison-Thomas and Harriet Gifford are exhibiting for the first time at Georges House Gallery.
Harriet Gifford’s work inhabits the territory between abstraction and figuration and is inspired by dark skies and fading light.
Tina Atchison-Thomas describes her work as “a response to the landscape, concerned with the language of colour and light.”
The commonalities and contrasts of light, darkness, colour and texture in their work makes for a visually exciting exhibition.

| Memories of Summer |
| ‘Identity’ is the main source of inspiration in Martine’s work. She focuses on everyday objects and landscapes. By placing these in a particular context, Martine creates a thought-provoking and fascinating perspective – and in this way she explores how identity is created and influenced by its environment. |
