Canterbury Christmas Light Parade

Canterbury Christmas Light Parade took the theme of ‘Aladdin’, inspired by the Marlow Theatre’s Aladdin pantomime.

Strange Cargo worked with teachers and artists to create carnival builds for the light parade. Weaving its way will weave past the Cathedral, illuminating the medieval streets as it goes by.

Six huge Aladdin characters and 100+ light up costumes created by local schools, were accompanied by a festive brass band and a whole host of lively Christmas characters.
