Artists and residents work together to create a new cultural landscape. Strange Cargo support the dismantling of cultural hierarchy with a residency programme. The Resident Platform brings professional artists to bring their practice to Cheriton to create a new sculpture for Folkestone West Station. Created as a companion to a second sculpture made by local people through a participatory process delivered by Strange Cargo and observed by the artist.

The Resident Platform #2 includes artist Kira Freije who created Catcher. Alongside a sculpture created by Cheriton Road Cemetery volunteers called Church and Chapel.
