Artists and residents work together to create a new cultural landscape. Strange Cargo support the dismantling of cultural hierarchy with a residency programme. The Resident Platform brings professional artists to bring their practice to Cheriton to create a new sculpture for Folkestone West Station. Created as a companion to a second sculpture made by local people through a participatory process delivered by Strange Cargo and observed by the artist.

Artist Patrick Corillon and students from Harvey Grammar in Folkestone, and College Turgot in Denain, France, created new artworks. Installed at Folkestone West railway station, the artworks have been created for The Resident Platform’s 4th iteration.
