The Turning Wave 1998
The Turning Wave was a community led celebratory work, performed on the dockside and harbour waters of De Bradelei Wharf.
Strange Cargo were commissioned in 1999 to create the Millennium Trilogy, a three year programme of community outdoor performances taking place in the public spaces in the town.
The first performance explored important events in the history of Dover and its role as the gateway of the country and was created during a company residency at the Old Park Barracks where the scenery, costumes and props were created and a voluntary cast of performers were rehearsed.
