Walking in The Long Shadows

Strange Cargo, in partnership with Stour Valley Arts, proudly launched Lukas Skapski's millennium artwork in Kings Wood, Stour Valley. This new piece by the Polish artist featured an avenue of 1,000 yew trees, aligned to perfectly frame the setting sun on the evening of the summer solstice.

The midsummer night celebration included active participation from children and families from the surrounding villages, marking a memorable event to unveil this significant new artwork for the new millennium.
