Walking in the Long Shadows

Strange Cargo launch of Lukas Skapski's work for the millennium in Kings Wood, Stour Valley. In partnership with Stour Valley Arts, Strange Cargo celebrated the unveiling of the new artwork for the new millennium, by Polish artist Lukas Skapski.

The work comprised an avenue of 1000 yew trees which lined up with the setting sun on the evening of the summer solstice.

The celebratory event on midsummer night involved participation from children and families in the surrounding villages.
